Attention Unincorporated Gwinnett County Customers:
On July 1, 2011, Gwinnett County will begin a new solid waste plan for homeowners in unincorporated Gwinnett county (not in a city limits district). Sanitation Solutions will be the garbage provider for Service Area 1 – refer to district map at www.sustainablegwinnett.com.
Homeowners will soon be receiving a letter in the mail from the county stating who their garbage provider will be, and explaining the details of the new plan as it pertains to our company. The county call center phone # is 770-822-7141, or you can visit the county website at www.sustainablegwinnett.com to learn more about the solid waste plan.
The new Gwinnett County Solid Waste plan includes service to 1 Garbage Can, and Recycling. We provide one recycling bin, however other recycling containers are acceptable from other carriers, as well as small garbage cans that are clearly painted with "RECYLING" on the container. Yard Waste Service and Additional Can Service are billed seperately to the homeowner, and this service can be established by calling our office Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..
